Job Description

Following the launch of the new business, we're seeking Regional Directors

whom will have full responsibility for imparting company strategy within

their region.

As a successful Regional Director you'll lead regional teams in order to

maximise short and long term profitability for SPW within the local market,

owning the P&L for your region, and ensuring PBT and Balance Sheet metrics

are met through development of an appropriate business plan.

What you’ll be doing…

 * You'll ensure that the full capabilities of SPW are delivered to the

right customer based on their needs. Mentoring, developing and maintaining a

high performing team to deliver the business proposition across the region.

 * You'll build, develop and direct a comprehensive business plan for the

Region. Based on the assessment of local market opportunities regarding

customer profile and the competitive environment, delivering the financial

services strategy that drives income, ensures profitable growth and

continuous improvement within the Region.

 * You'll create, develop and execute business plans and processes to

facilitate identification and on boarding of customers, ensuring that you

meet required levels of profitability and service standards for the current

year and longer term financial and business objectives.

 * You'll deliver to agreed standards major change programmes minimising the

impact upon the customer franchise and business performance

 * You’ll use MI to enable client portfolio analysis and drive client

acquisition and growth.

 * You’ll lead the client experience, owning and leading the

lifecycle of a client from prospect through to on-boarding

 * Your direct actions will continuously improve the client experience,

ensuring that all productivity targets and quality standards are achieved

(including asset quality and pricing targets).

 * Along with performance manage of all your direct reports, you'll provide

clear direction, mentoring and support in daily activities

 * You’ll take personal responsibility to introduce, support, sustain

and input into policy and other initiatives. Creating an open and

participative environment with effective collaboration, leadership and

communications.

 * You’ll lead the cultural, behavioural and business changes

necessary to achieve the continuous development of a client orientated

business

 * Through effective leadership, coaching and management, you’ll

promote diversity and exemplary management practices. You'll define and

enhance culture through individual and team performance and inspire positive

motivation and commitment of all staff within the SPW.

 * You'll build awareness of SPW and effectively represent SPW in the

region.

 * You’ll comply with specified risk and compliance procedures and

practices ensuring that you're operating within SPW policies at all times

 You'll have:

 * Bachelor Degree or equivalent

 * Substantial experience as a manager within a fast-paced and dynamic

financial services environment (preferably within the Wealth Management

Sector), with a demonstrable record of motivating and leading a high

performing team

 * A track record of successfully handling interaction, design and execution

within compliance and risk frameworks

 * The commitment to move the business forward, building and sustaining long

term performance and capacity, whilst understanding how to support all

business streams and operate within a multi-faceted ‘One Team’

operation

 Your Key Qualities: 

 * Highly collaborative, possessing clear and effective communication skills

in order to facilitate successful client relationships and employee

engagement.

 * Excellent interpersonal skills; ability to build relationships, influence

and command the respect of individuals from a wide range of backgrounds

 * Development is key and you must be able to support advisers and managers

reach their true potential in terms of productivity and professionalism

 * Outstanding levels of dedication and work ethic; happy to get stuck into

the ‘doing‘ while maintaining a broad view of affairs across

the business

 * You must be self-motivated, standout colleague and have a passion for

team building, be highly organised and be meticulous to detail.

 * You'll be open and welcoming to change, be a creative and strategic

thinker, have exceptional problem solving skills, and have an ability to

stay focused in times of uncertainty and stress inspiring the same in the

team.
