Empowering customers to live rewarding and happy lives. Thats when it hits home.

We have a fabulous opportunity for you to join our awesome team. We support our brilliant customers, who are referred to us through the Norfolk and Suffolk CRC. Youll be working with Ellie, Kyra, Susanna and Amy at the €œ4women service€; a thriving, vibrant and inspirational centre committed to the needs of women in the criminal justice system.

Working to job share with our other Support Coordinator you will help to support vulnerable customers to make positive and lasting changes to their lives, with the key aim of enabling women to reduce their re-offending. The service provides one-to-one support and group activities, delivered by the €œ4women€ team. Ellie is the Service Manager and the team also has two full-time apprentices who provide loads of support and a very warm welcome to customers and new colleagues alike!

Working hours

We would need you to work on a Tuesday afternoon in Norwich and a Wednesday in Great Yarmouth, but there is some flexibility in how the rest of the 15 hours are worked.

About you

Youre passionate and motivated to help vulnerable people make positive and lasting changes to their lives. Youll impress us with your ability to work on your own initiative, positively influencing people from all different backgrounds. Youll help change our customers lives (and our services) for the better by undertaking risk assessments, support planning, goal setting and regular reviews.

Youll create bespoke and personalised support plans with and for your customers. Each plan will look to meet our customers individual needs and aspirations, making sure they meet safeguarding and confidentiality requirements. Youll also have responsibility for working collaboratively with external agencies, to assess and engage support for our customers.

To make sure that we keep our records straight, and customers safe, it's really important that you are technologically savvy (or at the very least not a technophobe!) Youll be given the latest IT kit, which could include a Surface Pro tablet and a smart phone, supported by our new online integrated IT system, which means that you dont have to be in the office as you can complete support plans on the go.

It would be amazing if you have worked in this type of environment before, however its your €œcan do€ positive attitude and enthusiasm that are critical to make this role a success. We can nurture your talent, just let us know in your cover letter why you have a passion for working here!

As this role involves working one day a week at our Outreach post in Great Yarmouth youll need to travel there to spend time with your customers. You could do this role using public transport, or if you drive and have access to a car that would also be amazing! We pay your expenses to cover this use!
