Based: Cambourne Station, Cambridge CB23 6FY + regular travel to sites in Cambridgeshire and Bedfordshire will be required.
Hours: 37 per week â flexitime
Salary: £42,683 per annum starting salary
Contract: 20 Month Fixed Term
Responsible for the management of the day to day operations of the ICT Support Team, including Service Desk provision, and for providing excellent customer service to two Fire and Rescue Services. The successful candidate will work with the ICT Service Delivery Manager to set the strategy for the management of ICT Support across both organisations and will play a key role in ensuring the development of the technology, operating processes and procedures to consistently improve the customer ICT experience.
Knowledge of end user device and delivery technologies for both static and mobile users together with experience of supporting them and ensuring security is maintained in a large organisation is required.
Candidates should have excellent interpersonal skills, an outstanding record of managing and leading teams, and the ability to work in a methodical and logical manner.
Full UK driving licence is essential.
