Salary £4.35 to £8.21 per hour, depending on age (this is reflective of NMW)

Our award winning apprenticeship programme has been designed to get our customers on the career ladder! (How awesome is that!) Dont be put off by the word apprentice as you can be any age to apply.

So whats so great about this apprenticeship? Well, your wage will be higher than the national apprenticeship minimum wage, so start planning what to spend that extra cash on! Youll be employed for an 18 months period to get stacks of experience and launch your career! Youll start at NVQ level 2 (equivalent to a GCSE) with a possible progression to level 3 (equivalent to A-levels) and many apprentices secure a permanent role with us! Who knows where future you will end up!

About the role
Youll be working with Zeyad Ahmed (Client Service Manager) and Karen Bailey (Senior Client Service Manager) where you will support a team of colleagues to help our customers successfully achieve the outcomes outlined in their own individual support plans.

You will provide customers with a helping hand and assisting with some tasks to develop and maintain basic life skills and live independently.

We are a team of 23 colleagues (which includes support staff, clinical team, apprentice, and an amazing peer support worker).

You will work with a number different client groups age from 16 to 25 who have mental health and complex needs, so no two days are the same. Alongside doing your NVQ, youll work with everyone on the team who will support you along the way. Every colleague in the team has different skills, knowledge and experiences which they will share with you.

Please note any offer of employment is subject to an Enhanced Disclosure check through the DBS the costs of which are met by Home Group. 

Who were looking for
You can apply for this apprenticeship if you are a current or former Home Group customer.
 
Ideally you will have good written and verbal communication skills, interpersonal skills and basic Microsoft Office Skills but before long youll be a real whizz!   You be great at working with people as part of a team, but must be able to work independently and use your initiative. Youll be keen to learn from others how to prioritise and manage your work load, but an eye for detail is important.
