SALARY: GRADE 7 POINTS 23 - 28 £26,999 – £31,371
CONTRACT – FIXED TERM / FULL TIME 37 HOURS A WEEK
An exciting opportunity has arisen for a highly motivated individual to join the Council’s Economy & Skills Team. The successful applicant will work as a member of the Regional Funded Operations Team, supporting a new South East Wales regional project called Nurture Equip Thrive.
Nurture Equip Thrive aims to reduce underemployment and absence rates for employed individuals with work limiting health conditions and other barriers to sustainable employment. To help achieve these aims the role will engage and support local employers across the region to develop or improve equality and diversity strategies and implement appropriate monitoring systems.
The role is full time on a fixed term contract until 31st December 2022. You will be based in Croesyceiliog CEC, Cwmbran although the successful applicant will travel extensively throughout the South East Wales region. Nurture Equip Thrive is part funded by the European Social Fund (ESF) through the Welsh Government.
