The Government Internal Audit Agency provides objective insights to 75% of central government, so they can achieve better outcomes and value for money for the public – better insights, better outcomes. It’s an exciting time to be joining us, the agency having recently developed an ambitious vision for our next three years. We now need to turn this vision into action. 

Are you a strategic thinker who is looking for a new challenge at the top of a young organisation?  

Are you interested in gaining experience in shaping an organisation as a member the Agency’s Board and Executive Committee? 

Are you motivated by leading and empowering teams to make an impact, across the top levels of government? 

We are seeking a senior leader and qualified audit professional, to be one of our two Operational Directors. You will oversee a portfolio of internal audit and related professional services across multiple government departments and agencies. We seek an individual who can bring a highly customer focused approach, to facilitate improvements in quality and impact, while being sensitive to the experience of other professional internal audit staff and our customers’ priorities.

You will be a full member of the of the Agency‘s Board and Executive Committee.
