(External Stakeholder Management Lead) â Yorkshire, The Humber and North East of England
This role is mobile/home based with frequent travel throughout Yorkshire, The Humber and the North East of England.
The Association of Colleges is the national voice for colleges in England and exists to promote and support them. We are a not-for-profit membership organisation, representing the interests of our members and providing them with high-quality professional support services.
The Area Director is our senior representative and primary contact for member colleges in Yorkshire, The Humber and North East England. This is an influential role, working with college Boards, principals and senior teams in the region to understand and meet their needs. The Area Director champions and represents colleges in the region with key stakeholders and engages members in our policy and public affairs work.
We are looking for a strong leader with the ability to work flexibly and autonomously, balancing member and stakeholder needs with the strategic direction of the organisation. You should demonstrate excellent interpersonal and influencing skills, ideally gained from working in a complex stakeholder environment, along with the drive and proactivity to make a positive impact across a wide area.
