Venue Director

With annual audiences of over half a million people, Nottingham Theatre Royal & Royal Concert Hall is the major Arts and Entertainment provider in the East Midlands.

Following on from our recent £3.4 million refurbishment the venue not only has a thriving night-time economy but is also developing and maximising its expanding daytime activity to ensure continuing growth and success.

As the new Venue Director, we are seeking an exceptional individual to provide the innovative leadership and vision

required to profitably grow the business and deliver the high-quality, artistic and entertaining programme expected

for this leading Nottingham entertainment venue.

You will need strong commercial acumen with a personality to build positive relationships with national promoters and stakeholders, influencing and leading negotiations for a sustainable programme of shows and events.

You will be the voice of the venue, an initiator and collaborator with experience of leading a successful team to make things happen including delivering income generation and business growth set within a sustainable business model.

We particularly welcome applicants from black, minority, ethnic communities and disabled people as they are currently under represented at senior levels in the organisation.
