Job Description

The Latymer Foundation is a registered charity running two highly successful independent schools in West London: Latymer Upper School and Latymer Prep School.  Educating approximately 1,400 academically able girls and boys aged 7 – 18 years, the Schools combine to provide a diverse, innovative and caring community with a Latymer “Buzz” and energy that permeates throughout.

The Foundation has one of the most successful and ambitious bursary programmes in the country and its aims and ethos remain fully aligned to the vision and ethos of its founder, Edward Latymer in 1624.  For more information, please go to www.latymerfoundation.org

The post of Director of Outreach is new, and is designed to focus and bring together key strands of work within the Foundation’s Bursaries Programme and extensive Outreach and Partnership Initiatives.  This post will also have strategic oversight of the work of the Admissions, Communications and Marketing teams; in addition, he or she will manage an outreach officer and data analyst, both to be recruited by the successful candidate.  The Director of Outreach will be accountable to the Head for delivery of the Governors’ strategic objectives in relation to bursaries and partnerships, as well as increasing diversity within the School.

As a member of the Senior Leadership Team, comprising colleagues from various disciplines across the School, you will work in close collaboration with the Head, Governors and other key partners to develop and deliver an Outreach Strategy that maximises the School’s brand and profile.  This is a broad role and you will need to demonstrate a proven record of accomplishment in strategic and operational management at a senior level.  You will be a highly diplomatic individual and an exceptional communicator, capable of delivering results through outstanding leadership and teamwork.

Further information on the Schools can be found at www.latymer-upper.org and www.latymerprep.org
