Secondment Opportunity or Fixed Term Contract until March 2019

The London European Partnership for Transport (LEPT) coordinates, disseminates and promotes the sustainable transport agenda for London and London boroughs, in Europe. London Councils manages LEPT and seeks a Communications and European Project Officer to take forward this work.

We are looking for someone to join the small team at LEPT and who can be an ambassador for London on sustainable transport, building effective working links with London boroughs, Transport for London, and European partners. The successful candidate will be responsible for the delivery of the LEPT communications strategy through the websites, electronic bulletins and newsletters; coordinating internal and external events; managing and maintaining the financial reporting systems; and being the first point of call for all incoming enquiries from member boroughs, and other stakeholders from across London and the EU. The role will also include also identifying and bidding for future European funding under the relative EU funding calls.
