Grade 8 £45,981 pa rising incrementally to £47,838 including LW

Permanent -  35 Hours per week

Based in Glasgow

The post holder will contribute to the strategic development of TUC Education and be responsible for the effective development, organisation and delivery of TUC Education in Scotland.   Being part of a TUC Education national team responsible for the development and delivery of digital and classroom learning programmes and services to TUC affiliates, internal and external stakeholders. The post holder will need to have: 

Experience in developing, organising and delivering education and training programmes

excellent ICT skills including Microsoft packages (e.g. PowerPoint, Word and Excel)

sound presentation skills including ability to communicate complex information in readily understood terms to a variety of audiences

knowledge and understanding of education theory and practice

current knowledge of e-learning approaches, developments and trends

knowledge of Scotland and its economy
