Political Adviser to the Liberal Democrat Group

Starting salary: £41,674 per annum

(Part-time would be considered) 

We are looking for someone with experience of dealing with politicians at a national and/or local level to act as adviser to London Councils Liberal Democrat Group. You will contribute to our work on behalf of London local government via your support to the Liberal Democrat Group and London Councils overall.

A key part of the job will be to liaise with Londons Liberal Democrat elected representatives at local, regional and national level. You will be a key interface between the wider organisation and the Liberal Democrat Group. 

Experience of producing written reports, briefings, and draft speeches on policy issues is essential. You must be able to understand and reflect the political position of the Group and be able to represent the Liberal Democrat Group at external meetings and events with authority and confidence.
