If you are a highly organised administrator seeking a fresh, new challenge, this is an amazing opportunity to consolidate your skill-set and increase your licensing knowledge with a leading regulatory body.

Great Britain’s gambling industry is in a constant state of change, fuelled by shifting consumer behaviour and the rapid growth of technology. It’s high profile politically too, and the legislation controlling gambling is constantly under scrutiny. Within this uniquely challenging and evolving environment, The Gambling Commission’s role is to ensure that gambling is crime free, fair and open - and that children and vulnerable people are protected. Now they need you to play a key role in their future, driving the change needed to ensure that the Gambling Commission can meet the growing complexity of the market and their developing regulatory remit.

The Gambling Commission are now looking for four Administrators to join their dedicated team on a 12 month fixed-term contract.

As an Administrator, you’ll support the smooth running of the Licensing Department, which assesses applications made by organisations and individuals to ensure they are suitable to enter the gambling industry.

Specifically, you will:

- Accurately input and process data that supports key organisational decisions

- Co-ordinate the archiving system

- Act as the first point of contact for all incoming confidential and critical documentation

- Process payments

- Be responsible for the Commission’s incoming and outgoing deliveries

- Identify ways to further improve existing operations

To be considered, you will need previous administration experience. Excellent attention to detail and strong communication skills are also key.

Organised and proactive, as an Administrator, you must be comfortable working within a fast-paced environment, able to learn quickly and possess excellent planning and prioritisation skills.

Please note, the closing date for applications is the 27th March 2018.
