Stagehand

Lime Pictures currently has an opening for a Stagehand to join our hard working Design team on our award winning serial drama, Hollyoaks. This is an exciting, entry level opportunity, ideally suited to someone with excellent organisational and interpersonal skills. Our stagehands are responsible for ensuring the Hollyoaks sets and scenery are set up, dismantled and stored in line with health and safety requirements/guidelines. Other key duties include making props as and when required, and providing support to the Design team during the shoot with the movement of furniture and flattage. Required Skills and Experience: Good manual handling skills (including physical ability to undertake full range of duties) Ability to make props Knowledge of health and safety issues relating to the job role Good interpersonal and communication skills Good organisational skills Ability to use own initiative Ability to work as part of a team Attitudes: Professional and confidential approach Enthusiastic and proactive Helpful and flexible approach Desirable Qualifications: Manual Handling Certification Production Health and Safety qualification Other: Clean driving licence HGV licence is desirable but not essential Location: Liverpool Contract: 6 month fixed term A copy of the job description is available on request.
