We were awarded Gold in the Teaching Excellence Framework. As a board member, you can help to shape our development and contribute to our strategy for future success. Your fellow board members are drawn from the private, public and voluntary sectors as well as from the staff and students of the University. Collectively you and your colleagues safeguard the University through oversight of its activities, ensuring the effective and efficient use of resources in partnership with the Executive Team. The successful candidate will have extensive experience gained working at senior levels in relevant organisations. Other significant expertise which is also relevant to the Board would also be considered. The successful candidate should be available for monthly meetings. Whilst the position is unpaid, reasonable expenses can be reimbursed. We are keen to hear from BAME candidates, women, LGBTIQ candidates and those with declared disabilities. This vacancy is for an independent member of the Board, and is therefore not open to current staff or students.
