Job Description

Want to Shape the Future of Mental Health Services in Lambeth? Living Well Network Alliance Remuneration: £13,000 per annum for 4 days per month London The Living Well Network Alliance (LWN Alliance) is a ground-breaking group of organisations who will take a whole system view to plan and deliver services in Lambeth collectively. The LWN Alliance will be responsible for the large majority of the adult mental health services in Lambeth, including the existing Living Well Network as well as all inpatient and community care. We have ambitious plans to improve access, integrate and co-ordinate care, managing demand and resources effectively and thereby improving services for everyone in Lambeth. Since formation of the Lambeth Collaborative in 2010, progress has been made to improve services for people experiencing mental health issues in Lambeth. Whilst a number of significant challenges relating to services remain, what we have learnt in this time is that by working together, harnessing a variety of expertise, we can provide effective, early support to a large number of people as well as significantly improve the lives of those with more complex conditions. We now want to build on the progress we have made so far and take up the opportunity to go further. Against this backdrop of development and change, we are now seeking a Chair who will play a critical role in creating the right environment for the partnership to thrive. It is a role which will offer challenge and reward in equal measure. It requires someone to embrace the current challenges and opportunities; and provide the inspiration and vision needed to harness the collective talent and experience of Alliance Partners towards creating sustainable integrated services. The appointed individual will bring a track record of operating at board level in a complex environment, ideally with experience gained in a Non-Executive capacity. We are looking for someone with high levels of integrity who will lead co-production and partnership across a diverse stakeholder group, candidates will need to be politically astute, able to navigate complex relationships across organisational boundaries. We need candidates who celebrate diversity and inclusion, above all else, they will be focussed on facilitating collaboration that drives real change and genuinely benefits the population of Lambeth. Closing date for applications is Monday 15th January 2018.
