General Manager

General Manager (Maternity Cover) / November 2017 3 days/week / £34,170 per annum pro rata / maternity cover Thank you for your interest in joining Candoco Dance Company. We are seeking to recruit maternity cover for our General Manager for an initial contract period of minimum 6 months (with possible extension up to 10 months), starting w.b. 26 March 2018. Working closely with the Executive Director (ED) and the rest of the office team, the General Manager role is pivotal within the company structure. It is a mixed and varied role, with both a high level of autonomy and responsibility, and a requirement to work flexibly as part of the team. You will be joining Candoco at an exciting time as our new Artistic Co-Directors, Ben Wright and Charlotte Darbyshire, begin their tenure with the company. During 2018 we will continue to tour work by Yasmeen Godder, Trisha Brown, Hetain Patel, Arlene Phillips, Caroline Bowditch and Alexander Whitley throughout the UK and internationally. Candoco is privileged to have been awarded an increase in investment by Arts Council England as part of our 2018-22 National Portfolio Organisation funding. This enables us to contribute further to the Creative Case for Diversity and develop progression routes for disabled dancers with a comprehensive programme of training and artistic development.
