Job Description

Hours/days per week: 35 hours / 5 days per week / 1.0 FTE (full time) Contract: Permanent Interview date: w/c 11 December 2017 Unfortunately we are unable to offer feedback to unsuccessful applicants. Please note we are recruiting for three Campaign Officers (COs). COs will be expected to work on a variety of different campaigns during their time at Friends of the Earth. We are specifically appointing one CO to the Parliamentary, Legal and Planning team. Friends of the Earth campaigns on a wide range of issues including stopping fracking, tackling air pollution, protecting nature, and stopping our environmental protections being undermined by Brexit. We are looking for someone who will contribute to the delivery of Friends of the Earths campaigns including through: Writing engaging campaign communications for example action guides and letters to MPs Using our digital platforms and tools to promote key messages Supporting our activist networks and working with demographically diverse audiences Being the campaigns key point of contact for colleagues and supporters Contributing to campaign strategy development Friends of the Earth offers a competitive range of benefits, a good work/life balance, excellent learning and development opportunities and a vibrant and friendly organisational culture.
