HEAD OF STRATEGY, FINANCE AND CORPORATE SERVICES York Museums Trust (YMT) is an independent charity created to manage and look after the City of York Councils collections and assets including York Art Gallery, York Castle Museum, Yorkshire Museum, York Museum Gardens, and York St Marys. These are exciting times to join the Trust on the back of our multi award winning redevelopment of York Art Gallery and as we plan a major capital project at York Castle Museum to transform its visitor experience. We are seeking a Head of Strategy, Finance and Corporate Services to lead organisational planning and financial management. They will be key to strategic decision-making and play an active part in the senior management team. As well as overseeing Finance, the role is responsible for IT across a range of systems and for our creative and sector-leading digital team. The post holder will also play a key part in major capital projects. They will represent York Museums Trust to key partners and funders. We are eager to hear from candidates with appropriate background as a senior manager leading finance and other teams and substantial experience leading organisation-wide strategy and planning. They will be able to demonstrate strategic thinking and the leadership skills to involve and inspire managers, colleagues and staff.
