Job Description

We are now recruiting for experienced Operations Managers who can bring their dynamic leadership skills and drive to achieve excellent customer service standards. The Legal Ombudsman has embarked on a transformation programme to modernise its business processes, we are looking for people who can make a positive impact and that will thrive in leading our teams through this change programme and beyond. Please note that vacancies will either be permanent or fixed term. Operations Manager (£49,289 up to £53,575 pa, starting salary dependant on experience) Our Operations Managers play a key role in ensuring the organisation delivers on its KPIs of timeliness, quality, cost, reputation and impact. We are looking for people that can motivate our operational teams to achieve high performance, embed a supportive and coaching culture to develop their teams and grow and nurture their professional and leadership skills to handle difficult situations. You will be someone who has the ability to think on an operational and strategic level to implement and drive operational and cultural values within the organisation. Your role will involve taking part in leadership meetings and working with corporate colleagues to ensure we are managing issues in partnership and consistently. You will be able to build a close working partnership with HR on issues such as performance, recruitment and absence to ensure a consistent approach is taken. The successful candidates will have Proven experience of successful operational and people leadership gained in a customer focused organisation A confirmed track record of leading teams to consistently achieve targets and performance standards delivering an excellent standard of quality and customer service Demonstrable success in supporting others to develop through coaching and mentoring Experience of developing an in-depth understanding of risk, including prevention, mitigation and management Experience of influencing managers at a senior level and liaising with external stakeholders Problem solving and analysis of complex issues If you feel that you can make a difference, and are used to working in a customer and delivery focussed environment then we would like to hear from you.
