Within HR we are working through an ongoing transformational change programme to improve the effectiveness of our service delivery and maximise value to our internal customers. This new position will help to develop our resources and capacity to continue our continuous improvement journey. The HR team that you would be joining is a friendly common sense pragmatic, proactive group focused on growing nimble and high value professional services and advice. Youll need to match their ambition and energy as the remit you will be working across will be challenging, but the rewards in terms of professional satisfaction are immense. Deputising for our Chief People Officer, you will be responsible for developing clear work programmes, and ensuring that the HR team is focused on understanding and delivering the services that our leaders, managers and employees need. You will drive efforts to evolve our recruitment and learning processes, and develop HR expertise across the team, delivering a client-focused shared service model that helps maintain and improve the quality of the Home Office workforce. As an experienced HR leader, with a proven track record of managing large scale HR services, you will understand the nuances of delivering services to individual internal customers. You should be a progressive thinker, with the breadth of HR expertise to help us identify opportunities to strengthen the team and develop our capabilities.
