Job Description

You will also be highly numerate with excellent Excel skills, have experience using finance software and book keeping, have demonstrable experience with reconciliations to trial balance stage, and have a reputation for good working standards. The Assistant Accountant is part of a finance team comprising: Head of Finance, Management Accountant, Payroll Manager, and Finance Assistant. They will be a key support for the Management Accountant and Head of Finance. This is a new role created in the Finance Team to support ENB in strengthening its corporate services function. The Finance Team are experienced and work in a positive and supportive culture. Essential Skills At least part-qualified ACCA or CIMA accountant, or fully qualified AAT with significant demonstrable professional experience Strong IT skills including Microsoft office, particularly Excel, Word, and finance software Strong, clear communication skills at all levels including being able to explain financial concepts to non-financial colleagues Excellent attention to detail Highly numerate Ability to prioritise and work to deadlines and under pressure Organised, efficient and effective with time Job Details Place of work English National Ballet, Markova House, Jay Mews, London. ENB will move to a new purpose-built home at London City Island in late 2018 Hours of work: Normal office hours are 10 am to 6 pm Mon-Fri and as necessary to fulfil the scope of responsibilities. This will involve weekend and evening work. Extensive travel both within the UK and further afield will be necessary.
