Job Description

Salary range is £26,000 to £29,966 per annum Full Time Fixed Term Contract to 1st July 2018 St Pancras, London Would you be able to coordinate positive and eye-catching broadcast coverage for the British Library? Would you be able to handle multiple film crews and journalists, ensuring the Librarys messages are conveyed accurately and effectively to an audience of millions? The British Librarys busy press team would like to hear from you. We need a Communications and Filming Officer to join our friendly and highly creative team on a fixed term basis. We are looking for a highly-motivated individual with relevant experience working in a communications environment, and excellent written and interpersonal skills. You will be adept at working with multiple stakeholders, as well as confident in supervising film crews and other members of the media. You will have the ability to work proactively with drive, influence, flair and creativity, prioritising effectively in a busy environment and demonstrating a passion for and understanding of the Librarys Living Knowledge objectives.
