Key responsibilities

- First port of call for all media requests for this national organisation

- Provide briefings, media interview support and speeches for senior spokespeople, where appropriate

- Create press releases, articles and content to support campaigns, key messages, milestones and announcements

- Managing NESTs reputation in the media and wider stakeholder community, including myth busting and drafting lines to take


Key skills and experience required

- Great interpersonal skills, able to communication at all levels including CEO and director level, with senior external stakeholders and journalists.

- Excellent writing skills, capable of writing compelling articles, engaging press release and captivating speeches.

- Team player, able to roll your sleeves up and get involved in all aspects of the team and work with the wider devolved communications team on key projects.

- Very well organised, with excellent attention to detail

- Experience of juggling multiple complex projects, and delivering to tight deadlines
