Standards, Learning, Qualifications & Apprenticeships Hours: Full time, 36 hours per week Status: Permanent Location: Home based, national location with national travel (and overnight stays) Salary: ‚£42,986.31 per annum Closing Date: 5pm on Tuesday 3 rd October 2017 Interview date: Friday 20 th October 2017 in London Skills for Care helps create a better-led, skilled and valued adult social care workforce. We provide practical tools and support to help adult social care organisations in England recruit, develop and lead their workforce. We work with employers and related services to ensure dignity and respect are at the heart of service delivery. As the home of the National Skills Academy for Social Care, our support is from entry level right through to those in senior leadership and management roles. We also provide individual tailored solutions to support your business to deliver high quality care now and in the future. The Standards, Learning, Qualifications & Apprenticeships (SLQA) team at Skills for Care ensure high quality qualifications, standards and learning programmes are available for the adult social care workforce and we are looking for a new project manager to join our team. In addition we provide advice and support to the employer group developing Apprenticeship Standards for England and support the endorsement process for learning provision committed to quality delivery of training. Supporting the delivery of Apprenticeship programmes and learning opportunities through a series of innovative national projects we work directly with employers and Local Authorities to increase learning and development across all areas of the workforce. Increasingly we are also looking at business development opportunities within the field of learning and development. Educated to degree level or equivalent, with a background in social care or health and with experience of working in the field of learning delivery, project management or business development you will be able to work with a diverse range of stakeholder partners, building trust and credibility and contribute directly to the work of the team. As an excellent communicator with excellent writing skills you will also have experience of delivering seminars, information sessions and facilitating workshops to a wide range of audiences, be a confident speaker and able to communicate complex messages in a simple form.
