Rose Bruford College of Theatre and Performance is one of the UK's top specialist higher education institutions. Founded in 1950, Rose Bruford College continues to push the boundaries of training in performance and technical theatre, making it one of the worlds leading drama conservatoires. With over 800 students, across 16 vocational and professional degree courses, producing 75 separate productions each year, it is one of the UKs largest in terms of student numbers and the variety of its professional training options. Rose Bruford Colleges undergraduate and postgraduate degree courses offer full-time, part-time and flexible learning opportunities. These cover 16 different degrees, ranging from BA (Hons) Actor Musicianship to BA (Hons) Stage Management, BA (Hons) Theatre Design, and MA Theatre for Young Audiences. The College also offers continual professional development courses, youth theatre and summer programmes. In January 2017, Rose Bruford College was granted Taught Degree Awarding Powers by her Majestys Privy Council.
