Salary: £41,875 - £47,000 (incl. pay premium and London weighting £3,700 per annum/pro-rata)

Are you a project manager with an interest in data and knowledge of Data Protection and GDPR?
We need an experienced manager to lead a project to ensure Friends of the Earths readiness for the inception of GDPR, an associated part of wider investment in data happening across the organisation. The project covers procedural compliance, creation and centralisation of policy documents, planning of internal and external communications and making sure everything is in place by May 2018, with wrap-up and evaluation afterwards.
This is a great opportunity to develop your project management experience working for one of the UKs foremost campaigning organisations within a challenging but rewarding project role. We have a big focus on data over the next 12 months, and youll be part of the project team making the change happen including rolling your sleeves up and getting into the detail where needed. Our GDPR work touches on all aspects of the organisation, and youll work with people across the organisation to deliver this work.
You will have strong project management knowledge, with experience of running complex organisational projects with many stakeholders. As a systematic thinker, you will take an structured, analytical approach to problem solving and come with detailed knowledge and understanding of data protection legislation and best practice.
Main Responsibilities:
Ensure that the GDPR implementation project is well manage
Provide ongoing support and guidance throughout implementation, to clarify requirements or manage requirements change.
Review, revise and implement changes to our data protection processes and practices in light of GDPR and other regulatory changes.
About the Team:
This role sits as part of our Strategic Project focussing on Data, bringing together data and technology specialists across the organisation. Youll also be working closely with our Supporter Insight Team, as well as with our campaign, fundraising and activism teams.
