Head of Safer Housing
Exciting Opportunity within our Commercial and Operations Department
Could you match our ambition for Nottingham?
Itâs no coincidence that Nottingham was recently named in the Guardian as one of the happiest places to work in the UK. Itâs a great city to live and work for a great many reasonsâ¦
Weâve got one of the best public transport networks in the country with a recently extended tram system. Weâre a top Ten European City for foreign investment and one of the cleanest cities in Europe. Weâre currently one of âUNESCO City of Literatureâ title holders. Weâve also been hailed by Rough Guides as a great city to visit in 2017 thanks to a burgeoning arts and music scene, a great shopping experience and fantastic food and drink venues.
A great city deserves a great council which is what we strive to be.
Weâre looking for a new leader who is enthusiastic, passionate and visionary; who demands commitment and results but is able to lead and motivate their people with respect and empathy. Weâre seeking a high performer with a credible track record in success. As well as being a specialist in your field, you will be responsible for shaping the vision for your specific service area, delivering results, managing performance and demonstrating accountability. A background in the private or public sector â or both - is welcomed.
We do things differently in Nottingham. Weâre open to new ideas and keen to embrace new ways of thinking and doing. We particularly welcome applicants from black, minority, ethnic communities and disabled people as they are currently under represented within our workforce.
