Salary: £31,680-£36,275 (incl. London weighting £3,700 per annum/pro-rata)

Friends of the Earth is entering an exciting new time with a new brand on the horizon, an updated website and campaigns that are already making a huge difference to the future of our planet.
This maternity cover offers a unique opportunity to be part of this period of growth and lead on initiatives that will engage many more people with our cause. In particular, there is a significant opportunity to develop our nature work so that it inspires our existing supporters and reaches out to new audiences.
Nature is a significant strand of work at Friends of the Earth with our aim to bring thriving diverse nature into peoples daily lives in England, Wales and Northern Ireland. We will build on our successful Bee Cause campaign by broadening our work to helping communities enjoy a wide range of nature where they are.
We'll place a particular focus on expanding access to nature in large urban areas in England, Wales and Northern Ireland, especially within low-income communities. Well also help people in towns and cities to enjoy, defend and improve nature in their wider surrounding and countryside.
In this role youll be given the remit to think creatively and logically about how you can bring this ambition to life to engage many more people with our nature work in a variety of ways, including fundraising, raising awareness, online action and community events and initiatives.
