The Sport & Exercise Sciences department within the Institute of Sport is a vibrant department of the University of Chichester with wide-ranging accolades, a variety of facilities to support teaching and learning and student experience.   As Instrumentation Technician you will be responsible for designing laboratory equipment, supporting the team of Sports Science Laboratory Technicians to deliver the requirements of the department of Sport, Exercise and Health Sciences and take on the role of Deputy Senior Technician when required. Having a working knowledge of digital circuit design and production, an awareness of Health & Safety regulations within a life sciences laboratory environment and being able to demonstrate your experience of designing and building mechanical devices and apparatus in a range of materials whilst being flexible in your approach are essentials for this role.
