Location: Flexible - Dementia Adventure Essex HQ/home based by agreement Salary: 31,601 (0.8 FTE actual 25,280) Term of contract: initially 3 years, subject to continuing external funding Hours: 30 hours per week Other benefits: 25 days? annual leave (pro rata), flexible working and defined contribution pension scheme, phone and internet allowance, fully equipped laptop, HQ admin support. Dementia Adventure is a national charity that enables people living with dementia to get outdoors, connect with nature, themselves and their community, and retain a sense of adventure in their lives - from training care home staff and carers to think differently about positive risk taking, to delivering tailored small group supported holidays. Our work is rooted in compelling research. This exciting new project, known as "Dementia Adventure in a Box", will provide social licenses to five diverse partner organisations across England and Wales. Our tailored training and ongoing support will enable these partners to help people living with dementia to participate in engaging activities and to access the natural environment, leading to improved health and wellbeing. Partners include care home groups, national charities and healthcare organisations. The project will be externally evaluated by two academic partner organisations. We are seeking a highly organised, confident and credible Project Co-ordinator with excellent communication skills to join our friendly team and co-ordinate the licensed partners, who will work together to deliver the Dementia Adventure in a Box licence expansion. Reporting to the Head of Business Development & Innovation, you will: - establish and review systems and processes to ensure effective management of partner activity and communications; - co-ordinate project activity; - ensure and monitor partner compliance with key performance indicators and reporting requirements; - establish and manage evaluation processes; - produce reports for internal/external stakeholders, including grant funders; - use our Customer Relationship Management (CRM) system, to manage partner communications; - liaise with the Dementia Adventure administration team to ensure materials are printed on time/budget; - use online software to arrange and deliver meetings; - monitor and manage project expenditure.
