Visitor Experience Manager
The Serpentine is one of the most widely recognised organisations in the global contemporary art, design and architecture worlds, loved and respected by audiences, artists, donors and friends alike. With the opening in 2013 of a second gallery in Kensington Gardens, the Serpentine Sackler Gallery designed by Zaha Hadid Architects, the Serpentine doubled its exhibition spaces and increased its public, outreach, digital and commercial presence.
Now under the leadership of Yana Peel as Chief Executive and Hans Ulrich Obrist as Artistic Director, this unique organisation has entered an exciting new chapter in its 47-year history.
We are currently recruiting for a Visitor Experience Manager to lead, manage, motivate and develop the Visitor Experience team to enhance knowledge and performance in order to increase visitor engagement and build upon our reputation as a first class visitor attraction.
The Visitor Experience Manager will develop and deliver our visitor experience strategy and lead the effective and efficient visitor operation at both our Galleries. We are therefore looking for an individual who is flexible and able to work hands on as well as operate strategically. You will also collaborate with internal stakeholders to ensure exhibitions are delivered to the highest standard, maintaining the safety of artworks and delivering an excellent visitor experience.
