We are currently looking to recruit visitor experience professionals to work throughout our exciting and innovative spring/summer programme. Dealing with world-renowned artists to first-time visitors to the Serpentine, our Gallery Assistants strive to create a welcoming, enlightening environment for people from all walks of life. The successful candidates will be friendly, with a positive approach to people and customer care and also be able to demonstrate a genuine interest in contemporary art. You will play an important part in shaping the visitor experience we provide, whilst keeping the safety of the artwork, the Galleries and our visitors a top priority.
This is a fixed term contract until end of September 2017. Normal hours of work are 9.30am to 6.30pm, Tuesday to Sunday. The Serpentine Galleries also host a variety of morning and evening events so candidates will need to have the flexibility to work over 7 days a week (Monday to Sunday) and must be available to work shifts between the hours of 8am and 11pm. We are looking for people who will work on weekends and bank holidays.
You must be available to attend a group interview on the week commencing 20 February and free to attend an induction and training day on 27 February. You must also be available to work from 1 March until end of September 2017.
