Job Description

We are looking for a knowledgeable, creative and passionate team player who can support our teams to deliver a quality catering service that meets the needs of our residents. You will provide expert advice and guidance that ensures compliance with our Food Safety Policy and is in line with external agencies such as the Environmental Health Office and Care Quality Commission. The role will review current practice across our homes and develop best practice and consistency through engagement and training of our catering teams. A key aspect of the role will be to provide sound nutritional advice in line with current guidelines applicable to a care home setting. The ability to support a service that responds to resident choices and dietary requirements in a cost effective and creative way is essential. You will have experience of providing advice and guidance to Managers and staff with regard to providing a catering service. A minimum Level 3 Food Safety qualification is essential as is working within food safety regulations. You will have a proven track record of influencing change that has delivered creative ways of working that meets the customers complex needs.
