The Joseph Rowntree Foundation (JRF) and Joseph Rowntree Housing Trust (JRHT) are working together to achieve their vision of a prosperous and poverty free UK where everyone can thrive and contribute. We are seeking an experienced Procurement Manager to help deliver efficient, structured, and high quality procurement practices across the organisation. Working with Financial Services this role will drive a programme of analyses and improvements in procurement and related processes. Achieving best practices, value for money and thus contributing to sustainability will be key objectives. The successful applicant must be passionate about the work of JRF/JRHT, positive and change-oriented, plus able to demonstrate excellent engagement with internal and external stakeholders. You must be able to implement effective standard procurement practices where several approaches are already in use. Proven commercial experience is essential alongside up-to-date knowledge of relevant frameworks. Knowledge of procurement processes and regulations in charity organisations and social housing provision would be an advantage. This is a challenging role that requires good influencing and negotiating skills.
