Diversity and Inclusion Officer

Salary: �23,715 per annum (i.e. �13.03 per hour) Hours of work: Full time, 35 hours per week Location: The Homestead, York Term: Permanent Can you inspire people? At the Joseph Rowntree Foundation and Joseph Rowntree Housing Trust, we believe everyone should be able to be themselves at work. We�re now looking for a champion for our diversity and inclusion work to build on the great progress we�ve made over the last few years and to support diversity as an integral part of our strategic plan � someone with drive, enthusiasm, and an outstanding track record of running campaigns and initiatives with staff at all levels, from frontline services to directors. This role is part of our Human Resources team, and reports to the Deputy Director, People. The successful candidate will: - work on a wide range of activities, including working with the organisation�s senior managers on diversity in recruitment, staff induction, learning and development, and in our housing and care services for our residents and tenants - develop and lead engaging campaigns and other initiatives to promote diversity and inclusion amongst our staff - work externally with local and national partners to raise the profile and visibility of diversity and inclusion Download an application pack and further information via our website at www.jrf.org.uk/jobs Closing deadline is on Friday 18 December 2015 at 1pm.
