Salary: 19,695 per annum (i.e. 10.82 per hour)
Hours of work: Full time, 35 hours per week

Reporting to the Head of Policy and Research, this role provides essential administration support to a team within the Policy and Research Department. You will be the first point of contact for enquiries and administrative liaison for external project teams, partners and stakeholders, ensuring effective internal and external professional working relationships.
The role is responsible for the effective delivery of key administrative tasks for the team that will include; project co-ordination, diary management, arranging meetings, database maintenance, administrating and commissioning calls for proposals and producing and distributing accurate correspondence in accordance with JRF guidance, systems, policies and procedures.
To be successful in this role it is essential that you have proven administrative experience within a busy organisation and office environment. You will be confident with your communication skills and be able to use different forms of communication professionally, appropriately and effectively in internal and external facing roles.
Excellent organisational skills with a very high level of attention to detail and accuracy are essential. You must have a good working knowledge of Microsoft Office applications including PowerPoint, Excel, Outlook and Word with experience of database use. You will have a positive problem-solving and can-do attitude and be able to demonstrate an understanding of and commitment to the organisations values, strategic purpose and activities.
