Salary: 49,233 per annum (i.e. 27.05 per hour) Hours of work: Full time, 35 hours per week Location: The Homestead, York Term: Permanent The Joseph Rowntree Foundation (JRF) and Joseph Rowntree Housing Trust (JRHT) are working together for a prosperous and poverty free UK where everyone can thrive and contribute. We are now seeking an experienced Project Manager to work within our Development and Asset Management team. This team works alongside the wider Housing, Care and Policy and Research teams to drive and support the delivery of new build homes and contributes to our ambitious JRF/JRHT strategic plan. We are a small housing association with an ambition to change national policy and practice and you will play a key team role in supporting us to achieve our ambition. You will lead on the delivery of high quality new build development projects from inception to completion, ensuring value for money, innovative design, detailed specification and sustainability. Internal and external stakeholder management is key to the role, advising on quality and procurement aspects of development, ensuring smooth interface throughout the construction phases and handover to Housing Management. You will be accountable for monitoring and reporting on KPIs and will represent the Client in setting excellent standards of health and safety at all phases. To be successful in this role you will have a proven track record that demonstrates the skills and abilities of managing complex construction projects in residential developments and mixed tenure housing. You will be a strong team player with the ability to engage and motivate at all levels. A degree and/or Chartered Membership in a related Construction, Design, Surveying or Engineering field is essential.
