The Joseph Rowntree Foundation (JRF) and Joseph Rowntree Housing Trust (JRHT) are working together for a prosperous and poverty free UK where everyone can thrive and contribute.
We are now seeking a Project Assistant to support our Development and Asset Project Management team who work with the wider Housing, Care and Policy and Research teams to drive and support the delivery of excellent services and contribute to our ambitious JRF/JRHT strategic plan.
We are a small housing association with an ambition to change national policy and practice and you will play a key role in supporting us to achieve our ambition. You will assist in the successful delivery of our development projects, ensuring excellent administrative support, meet audit requirements, monitor and resolve defects and resolve queries for all new build schemes. You will take on responsibility for small scale new build projects from inception to completion working closely with key internal and external stakeholders.
To be successful in this role you will have proven experience of working in the property sector environment with the ability to work as part of a team, deliver under pressure and cope with conflicting priorities. You will have excellent communication skills, be proactive and have an excellent attention to detail. A good knowledge of all Microsoft Office applications is essential. You will have a basic knowledge of the housing development and asset management processes and regulations. A housing or construction related qualification is desirable.
