Executive Assistant to the Director of Communications & External Affairs
Hours of work: Full time, 35 hours per week
Salary: £23,715 per annum (£13.03 per hour)

Communicating and influencing effectively in the external environment is integral to the success of both organisations in order to bring about positive change for all of us affected by poverty and social problems in the UK. This post plays a vital role in enabling the Communications and External Affairs Director to lead the department to achieve its objectives.
You will provide effective support to the Director and a confidential, positive and efficient interface with internal and external colleagues. The successful candidate will ensure that the Director’s time is used effectively to prioritise strategic objectives and advise the Director on internal and external liaison, identifying connections that would be beneficial to advancing the organisation's strategic objectives.
This is a fast paced, demanding role, requiring significant recent administrative experience. You will need the ability to use your initiative and prioritise your workload; high standards of presentation and accuracy; excellent communication and interpersonal skills; a flexible approach; the ability to maintain confidentiality and sound Microsoft office and IT skills.
