Salary: 21,642 per annum (11.89 per hour)
Location: York
Permanent, Full Time, 35 hours per week
This role represents a fantastic opportunity to join the JRF IT team as a Service Desk Analyst. The IT team is part of the wider Corporate Services department and recent restructuring and period of growth has led to this vacancy. The role reports to the Service Desk Manager and involves working closely with the Service Desk Trainee in supporting internal staff on a mostly MS Windows environment.
This full time role will be challenging, and the successful candidate will need to be a hard working individual with good problem solving skills and the ability to communicate to staff at various levels within the organisation. A good record of excellent customer service is essential, as well as the ability to take ownership of tasks and see incidents resolved from start to finish.
Technical experience of the following software\hardware is desirable: Citrix Xenapp, MS Exchange, Office 365, Unity, Service Desk Plus, HP Thin Clients, Cisco Call Manager, MS Dynamics, Open Housing and Open Financials.
The post is based at the JRF head office in York, but with responsibility for IT support at more than 12 sites.
