Salary: 40,332 per annum (22.16 per hour)
Permanent, Full Time, 35 hours per week
The Joseph Rowntree Foundation is seeking a Senior HR Adviser to work within our busy HR team. At JRF we work to identify and address the root causes of poverty and injustice, whilst building resilient communities where people can really thrive.
You will be responsible for providing advice, guidance and support to JRF and JRHT on a range of employment issues employee relations, polices and procedures, recruitment, rewards and equality and diversity. Managing a small team of HR Advisers, you will be responsible for coaching and supporting the teams development and enhancing the HR service we currently provide.
To join us, you will ideally hold a relevant professional qualification or have appropriate significant experience. With an excellent knowledge of employment legislation and its practical application in workplace processes and issues, you should also have strong analytical, problem solving and decision making skills. Its important that you have strong team working and communication skills used to providing information in different formats to a range of stakeholders. Experience of managing a team and contributing to the development of HR policies and procedures would also be desirable.
