Job DescriptionFull time: 35 hours per week
The JRF and JRHT websites are the key public interface for each organisation and play a central role in our outward facing work. This post is an important part of a team that ensure our digital offering positions us as leading research communications and maximises the opportunities to use the website and other digital mediums to influence, connect and engage.
The successful candidate will be required to stimulate, assess and balance content requests alongside user needs. They will be responsible for the management of the sites, the continual maintenance of our content and platforms day-to-day, and contribute to the design and delivery of the re-development of both.
The role is part of the Communications and External Affairs Directorate, and is located within the Engagement Team which includes the functions of media, stakeholder relations, and digital marketing and communications. The role reports to the Digital Communications Manager and line manages the Digital Officer. It is based at JRF’s headquarters in York, with occasional travel to London.
