Full time: 35 hours per week
Salary: 32,616
Location: York (JRF may be able to contribute towards re-location costs)
Understanding our stakeholders and the best ways to engage them is a crucial part of delivering JRF and JRHTs organisational purpose to help bring about positive lasting social change. JRF and JRHT are part of a wide network which includes influencers, policy makers, practitioners, users, residents and the local community, and we want to be well placed to make the most of those relationships.
The successful candidate will provide strategic advice to JRF and JRHT on maximising its external relationships with stakeholders in line with organisational objectives. You will have the ability to work collaboratively across both JRF and JRHT to put stakeholders at the centre of our activity and provide practical support to colleagues engaging with our various audiences. You need to be a team player with excellent interpersonal skills who can work across content, digital, public affairs, stakeholder engagement, media relations and events. This post will require occasional travel to London and frequent travel in the York area.
The role is part of the Communications and External Affairs Directorate, and is located within the Engagement Team which includes the functions of media, stakeholder relations, and digital marketing and communications. The role reports to the Head of Engagement.
