Job Description

Full time: 35 hours per week Salary: 39,552 per annum If you are an L&D professional with a strong IT background, you can add an exceptional organisation to your CV. The Joseph Rowntree Foundation works tirelessly to identify and address the root causes of poverty and injustice, whilst building resilient communities where people can really thrive. You will enjoy a remit which will include taking a leading role in ensuring the provision of both a strategic and responsive learning and development service. You will be responsible for managing and co-ordinating the leadership and management development programme and reviewing and revising the performance management and development programme. You will also have responsibility for co-ordinating the work placement schemes that run across the organisation as well as working closely with the Head of the Coaching programme to ensure a co-ordinated approach to development activities. You will support the implementation of new technologies for staff through developing and delivering appropriate training solutions. You will also provide excellent learning and development advice to line managers to find value for money solutions to address development needs. We are looking for a candidate with extensive experience of positively contributing within an L&D leadership role. You will ideally hold a relevant professional qualification or have appropriate significant experience of designing, delivering and evaluating learning and development solutions. You will be focused on finding creative learning solutions to meet diverse needs with demonstrable ability to build collaborative relationships and adapt your approach to match changing requirements. This will be supported by a high level of IT literacy, an in-depth knowledge of learning and development processes and practices, excellent planning, training and presentation skills and you must be capable of working independently.
