Job Description

Digital & Marketing

Upload content to the intranet

Perform minor updates to the website

Edit and format documents and presentations using Microsoft Word and PowerPoint

Assist with video recording and editing

Communications

Schedule subscriber notes in the CMS system

Upload webinar details to Eventbrite

Upload podcasts to our platforms

Monitor the Enquiries and Communications inbox’s

Circulate the morning daily news summary to all staff

Stakeholder Engagement

Schedule meetings and roundtables

Provide support in the coordination of events – including pre-event planning and on the day assistance

Monitor speaker requests and circulate to the team

Update the communications planner and stakeholder engagement tracker with meetings and events

Monitoring and Horizon Scanning the stakeholder environment

Skills & Knowledge 

Strong written and verbal English language skills

Basic Microsoft Office experience

Attention to detail

Ability to work as part of a team and deliver to tight deadlines

Strong written and verbal language skills, with the ability to work to tight deadlines. The Corporate Affairs Executive will work across three teams, so they must be able to work flexibly and prioritise when necessary.  

The candidate must have strong organisational and planning skills, with strong attention to detail.

This role will report directly into the Corporate Affairs Associate, as well as working closely with senior members of the Stakeholder Engagement and Corporate Affairs team to ensure consistent, clear, and accurate communications across the function.  

The Corporate Affairs Executive will support the effective delivery of FRC messaging, to a variety of internal and external stakeholders, through multiple communication channels, including meetings, events, media engagement and the website. This supports the FRC’s broader objectives by enhancing stakeholder alignment and reinforcing the FRC’s strategic priorities.

The role is based in our central Birmingham office. The post holder should be able to work flexibly to support the team’s activities and also provide cover within the FRC as necessary. The FRC operates a hybrid working arrangement with its workforce. The FRC operates a hybrid working arrangement, with a expectation that 40% of a person's working time will be located at one of our offices per week, with precise arrangements to be agreed between the employee and the line manager.
