6 Month Contract, Full Time (37.5 hpw) covering an 8 week rolling rota and sleep ins

Pay £12.61 per hour (£24,664 per annum) plus sleep in enhancement and great benefits including Health Cash Plan

As one of our Lead Support Workers, youll be at the heart of supporting our customers who have complex mental health needs to develop their skills to live more independently in the community. Our service is very easy to reach either by car or public transport as there is a bus stop right outside. Local shops are within walking distance and there is parking on site free of charge!

Typical day as a Lead Support Worker (known by us as Coordinator)

Creating support plans with your customers and supporting them to achieve their aspirations.

Supporting customers with daily living activities such as making meals, shopping, budgeting, maintaining their tenancy and moving onto independent accommodation if they are able.

Carrying out risk assessments, support planning, goal setting and regular reviews.

Cuppas, chats and catch ups. Theres no rushing from one customer to the next here!  Plenty of time to collaborate with colleagues too.

You bring

Passion to support our customers to live their best life, working collaboratively with an eye for detail. 

Experience of creating person-centred support plans and supporting colleagues in working to work to the plans.

Experience of coordinating and assessing customer referrals.

The ability to work on your own initiative, remain calm under pressure and have a resilient approach.

Some confidence with IT systems would be of benefit but dont let this put you off! Training will be provided.

Job details

Rota pattern that mixes up lates and early shifts, with everyone takes their turn working weekends and covering sleep ins.

Where were flexible with you, we do need to meet the needs of our customers. That may mean adapting your start or finishing times on occasion.

Able to use technology for creating and updating support plans, complete online learning and to collaborate with colleagues.

Youll need an Enhanced DBS check done and we pay for that.
