Were now looking for a Director of National Operations to join our team on a permanent, part-time basis, working 22.2 hours per week over three days.

What you will bring€¦

To be considered as our Director of National Operations, you will need:

- Experience working at a senior level with operational management expertise

- Experience in risk management

- Stakeholder engagement experience

- Experience implementing technology to drive service improvement and operational excellence

- Strong people management skills with experience of building collaboration across teams

- Knowledge of regulatory policy and/or cross health and care sector expertise

- Knowledge of regulation, operational and government policy

- An understanding of corporate finance, managing budgets and measures of performance

- Strong business acumen and political awareness

This role will be subject to a satisfactory Disclosure and Barring Service (DBS) check.

What youll be doing€¦

As our Director of National Operations, you will oversee our National Specialist Teams and deliver operational policy.

Specifically, you will work with the Oral Health, Multiagency, Medicine Optimisation and Ionising Radiation (Medical Exposure) Regulations (IR(ME)R) and Mental Health Act teams.

Managing operational risk, you will ensure that required quality standards are maintained and provider risks are managed appropriately across National Specialist Teams, escalating high risk operations through the relevant governance mechanisms.

You will also manage the performance and development of your team, including the heads of functions, overseeing recruitment and selection processes, establishing clear accountabilities and managing KPIs to build an empowered and trusted team.

Additionally, you will:

- Develop and manage relationships with external stakeholders

- Oversee the delegated budget for National Operations

- Contribute to annual business corporate planning activities
