The role:

As the Education Administrator you will be responsible for engaging people in our work by developing and maintaining relationships with teachers and schools. You will oversee the procurement and delivery of education packs and manage data to track schools progress. This will need to be delivered at the highest administrative standard and always meeting SAS’s safeguarding and organisational policies. In short you will provide responsive, adaptive and effective support in the day to day running of SAS’s Education programmes.

You will bring

• Energy, positivity and organisational skills with a keen eye for detail

• Outstanding communication skills, great customer service and an enthusiasm for helping people

• Excellent IT literacy with experience of working with Microsoft Office programmes, particularly Excel

• The ability to prioritise a varied workload

• Highly organised with the ability to work in a team towards multiple deadlines

• Administrative experience in a relevant setting

• Experience working with data visualisation software is desirable but not essential

You should have

• Commitment and passion for our cause, and a genuine passion for inspiring the next generation of ocean activists

• A can do attitude, getting involved with any other duties within the scope, spirit and purpose of the post

We will provide:

• Space and equipment to work in our recently refurbished office on the cliffs in St. Agnes, north Cornwall. Coastal walks, lunchtime swims and surfing is encouraged.

• Flexibility, working around core hours of 10.30am to 3.30pm. Remote working options, with a current requirement to be in the office 2 days per week to maintain human contact and a feeling of team cohesion.

• A salary within a band, which will be reviewed at least annually. Pay will increase through the band with length of service. Opportunities for promotion to more responsible roles in higher bands, as your role evolves or others become vacant.

• 25 days of annual leave, increasing each January up to 28 days, plus Bank Holidays.
