Location: Our offices are based in Edinburgh, Glasgow & Inverness however we currently operate Hybrid/Home working

Salary: (Band 1B) from £28,753 to £32,330 per annum, plus competitive benefits 

Hours: 36.25 hours per week

Overall purpose of the role

You will be part of our award-winning, multi-disciplinary Executive Assistant team, and will work closely with our wider Business Support team to ensure a world class service to fully support the Auditor General for Scotland, the Accounts Commission and Audit Scotland’s senior leadership team.

How you can help us

You will provide a professional, confidential and proactive administrative and executive support service to members of our Leadership Group, enabling them to focus on organisational and strategic priorities.  Key strengths and responsibilities include:

 Being proactive, organised and resourceful – managing complex and demanding diaries, emails, organising meetings and events, preparing documents and coordinating all travel and accommodation arrangements efficiently and accurately.

 You understand the strategic objectives of those you support and use this knowledge to help them make best use of their time. For example, you will ensure agendas are prepared, issued and actions are tracked in advance of key meetings.

 You will also be the first point of contact for internal and external contacts, successfully building strong relationships with all key stakeholders.

 You will be flexible and able to provide support both directly and remotely to senior leaders based at other locations.

Specific knowledge and experience

We are looking for people who are excited about this role, with proven PA/EA experience, and with the gravitas and diplomacy skills to provide executive support to senior stakeholders. 

You must be proficient in MS Office and display a high level of attention to detail and bring excellent organisational skills to manage multiple and competing demands. Independent, resourceful, and proactive, you will manage not only your own time but the time of those you support, to ensure they deliver on key priorities.
